The Tower of London has guarded the Thames for almost 1,000 years, and its stones still hold the darkest stories in British history. Step inside with a storytelling guide and timed-entry tickets, then explore the Crown Jewels and medieval White Tower at your own pace.
Your tour begins outside the Tower of London, where your guide hands out pre-reserved tickets and offers a quick orientation. Walk through ancient gateways and step into nearly a millennium of royal drama, military might, and political intrigue.
Pause at Traitor's Gate to hear the chilling story of those who passed through these waters and never returned, including the doomed queen Anne Boleyn. Then continue to the Bloody Tower, where your guide unpacks the unsolved mystery of two young princes and the imprisonment of Sir Walter Raleigh.
Stand on Tower Green, where some of England's most famous figures met their tragic ends, before your guide leads you to the entrance of the Jewel House. Step inside on your own to see coronation crowns, royal scepters, and the dazzling Cullinan diamonds, then climb the medieval White Tower to view royal armor and weapons.
Use your flexible Thames cruise ticket whenever it suits you, drifting past Tower Bridge and London's iconic skyline on a relaxing 30-minute glide (the Thames River cruise is not included with the Basic option).
Upgrades can extend your day with a guided Thames boat ride, Westminster Abbey with audio guide, or the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
This tour is perfect for travelers who want London's most legendary fortress on a tight schedule, paired with the flexibility to add the river or the rest of the city on their own terms. History lovers, families, and first-time visitors all find a version that fits.
Pick the version of the day that fits you best: focus purely on the Tower and Crown Jewels with the Basic option, add the cruise on the main Group tour, opt for the Extended day with Westminster Abbey and a guided cruise, go private for a tour built around your group, or upgrade to a Full-Day London with the Changing of the Guard.
