Enjoy the scenic drive as your guide explains more about the road's rich history. Stop by a grand ancient Roman tomb, and walk along the very same stones that the ancient Romans traversed for centuries. Admire what remains of the Baths of Caracalla, and the foundations of the Circus Maximus.
Visit the Roman Catacombs on a pre-reserved 30-minute guided walking tour that takes you into the depths of the underground labyrinth. This portion of the tour will be led by an official Catacombs resident guide, where you’ll learn about the fascinating history of these ancient Christian burial sites.
On the return journey, drive along the incredibly well-preserved Aurelian Walls, the ancient Roman fortifications that once protected the city from invaders. Finally, be dropped off back at the tour meeting point, in central Rome (by the Pantheon).
Please note that there are 7 seats per vehicle and tours are run with up to a maximum of 2 vehicles and 14 participants. Vehicles will travel together (like connected train carriages) on tour and guests all listen to the same tour guide through the use of earpieces. In some occasions guests who book together may be asked to separate between the two vehicles.
