Come explore the fascinating history and delectable tastes of Spain’s most cherished culinary delights - Iberian pork charcuterie, local cheeses and tapas, and great wine!
Our gracious host will take you to two locations, beginning with an abacería where locals often go for pre-meal snacks and aperitifs. Here you will indulge in 3 different iberian sausages, 3 local cheeses, and a glass of sherry wine. As you enjoy your food and drink, you will be guided through the entire process of crafting the finest Iberian cold meats, with a special emphasis on the locally-made sausages. You will also get specialized explanations of each cheese, as well as the sherry wine. While indulging in the exquisite flavors of our tasting, you’ll come to appreciate the expertise and attention to detail that goes into each stage of the process - from raising the pigs in the countryside, to their carefully-crafted diet, and finally the curing of the meats.
To cap off your tasting experience, you will be taken to an authentic tapas bar where you’ll be treated to a drink and a selection of traditional tapas that showcase some more of Spain’s delicious Iberian porks.
