Bike & Bites - The Original Porto Bike Tour Experience

Experience Porto through its flavors on this 3.5-hour e-bike food and wine tour, combining scenic cycling with authentic local tastings.

Starting in the historic center near Largo de São Domingos, meet your guide and set off along the Douro River, riding through Ribeira and following a beautiful riverside route towards the Atlantic. This relaxed and mostly flat section makes for an easy and enjoyable start to the experience.

Along the way, stop in the traditional fishermen’s area of Cantareira before enjoying a hot coffee and a traditional pastry such as a Pastel de Nata or another local pastry.

Continue towards the ocean and stop at the iconic Pérgola da Foz, one of the city’s most recognizable seaside landmarks, before riding briefly along the Atlantic coast.

The route then enters the Parque da Cidade do Porto, where you’ll cycle through peaceful green paths, offering a calm contrast to the city.

Next, head towards the Boavista area for a stop at a traditional local tavern, where you’ll taste a typical Portuguese sandwich paired with a regional wine or a soft drink.

Continue back towards the city center, stopping at the Jardins do Palácio de Cristal to take in panoramic views over the Douro River.

The experience finishes with a final tasting in a local restaurant, where you’ll enjoy a selection of regional cheeses and cured meats, accompanied by wines or a soft drink, along with olive oil, bread and olives.
