At the appointed time, we will meet at Praça Marquês de Pombal 12/A, where we will board the minibus and begin our journey to Fátima.
After a journey of about 1 hour and 20 minutes, we will reach the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fátima, one of the most famous pilgrimage destinations in the world. Our first stop will be the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary. Here, we will find the remarkable funerary monuments of the three shepherds who, in 1917, claimed to have had divine encounters with the Virgin Mary right at this location.
We will also explore the Sanctuary of the Holy Trinity and the Chapel of the Apparitions, where the pedestal marks the very spot where the Virgin Mary appeared to the three young shepherds. It is from this sacred place that the impressive candlelit procession begins. During this procession, the original statue of the Virgin of Fátima is carried in a parade, accompanied by the recitation of the Rosary.
During this solemn moment, the devoted pilgrims gathered in the square of the sanctuary will silently follow the Virgin with lit candles as her effigy crosses the esplanade, finally returning to the chapel. The glow of hundreds of candles, together with the recitation of the Rosary in the darkness of the night, creates a deeply moving and powerful atmosphere.
After the procession, we will return to Lisbon, arriving at the departure point 7 hours after pick-up. We can also take you directly to your hotel in Lisbon, if you wish, at no additional cost.
Our spiritual assistant will introduce you to the Sanctuary, and together you can experience a moment of prayer.

If it rains, the candlelit procession may not take place, but the international rosary will still be recited inside the Chapel of the Apparitions

- The tour is not available on rainy days due to cancellation of the Candle Procession by the Sanctuary. We will inform you in a timely manner.
