This small group walking tour traces four centuries of French gastronomy through the streets of the Left Bank. It starts at one of Paris's most legendary bakeries, whose wood-fired ovens have barely changed since 1932, and moves through a legendary apple tart, sturgeon caviar paired with sparkling wine, and a savoury bite from one of the neighbourhood's most celebrated spots.
A seat at a neo-bistro that helped reshape how Paris thinks about restaurant cooking. Cheese from the official supplier to French presidents, followed by ganaches from a chocolate atelier supplying over 200 restaurants across France. The tour closes in a distillery whose facade is a listed historical monument, with armagnac and a story worth hearing.
