Join me for a beginner‑friendly surf lesson on the beaches of Vila Nova de Gaia, just across the river from Porto. This experience is designed especially for first‑timers and beginners who want to feel safe, build confidence and have fun in the ocean.
We start with a short introduction on the beach: safety rules, how waves work, how to position yourself on the board and how to stand up step by step. Then we go into the water, where I stay close to you, helping you catch your first waves and giving you clear, simple feedback so you can improve each attempt.
I don’t only teach technique – I also help you work on the mental side of surfing: dealing with fear, trusting your body, staying calm and enjoying each moment in the water. The goal is that you leave the ocean smiling, feeling stronger, more confident and proud of what you achieved.
All equipment is included (surfboard and wetsuit), and the lesson takes place in a safe spot chosen according to the conditions of the day. Groups are small so that I can give personal attention to each person.
