- The entrance to the basilica and the excavations is located in Piazza di San Clemente.
- The excavations are not wheelchair accessible and require going down stairs.
- The underground levels include stairs, uneven surfaces and enclosed spaces. This activity may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties or claustrophobia.
- The underground levels may be cooler than the outside temperature; comfortable shoes are recommended.
