Morning – Puffing Billy Steam Train Step back in time aboard historic Puffing Billy through the Dandenong Ranges. Ride open carriages, breathe fresh mountain air, and marvel at towering ash trees, fern gullies, and misty rainforests.
Afternoon – Wildlife Park (Maru Koala & Animal Park or Moonlit Sanctuary) Depending on the Puffing Billy timetable, we visit one of two excellent wildlife parks (entry at own cost).
Maru Koala & Animal Park: Feed kangaroos, meet koalas, see wombats, dingoes, and other natives.
Moonlit Sanctuary: Walk among wallabies, encounter koalas, and learn about endangered species conservation.
Both offer hands-on Australian wildlife experiences.
Evening – Phillip Island Penguin Parade At dusk, witness the famous Penguin Parade—watch Australia's smallest wild penguins emerge from the sea and waddle up the beach to their burrows. A truly magical natural spectacle.
