Begin your journey at the Douro Marina and set sail on a 10-meter sailing boat. Glide along the Douro River and take in the best views of the city and the famous Luis I Bridge.
As you sail, enjoy a glass of Porto wine and listen to your guide share stories about the history of Porto.
As the day comes to an end, reach the amazing Atlantic Ocean. If you're lucky, you might even spot some dolphins.
Feel the fresh Atlantic breeze and capture stunning photos along the way.
After your cruise, return to the Douro Marina with unforgettable memories.
Note: This is a relaxed scenic cruise aboard our traditional boat "Lua da Afurada." Please note that this tour does not include sailing (the sails are not opened) — for a hands-on sailing experience, check out our dedicated Sailing Experience.

Know before you go
- Access: Getting on board involves a few steps, so please tell us beforehand if anyone in your group has trouble moving around
- Timing: Please be at the meeting point about 10 minutes early. We sail on time and can wait a short while for latecomers, but we can't hold the boat for long
- Weather and river conditions: Your safety comes first, so we may adapt the route or the schedule. If conditions prevent the cruise from operating, you can pick a new date or get your money back in full
- What to wear: Flat shoes with a good grip work best. The river breeze can be cool even on a sunny day, so bring a light layer, plus sunscreen and sunglasses
