The route is about 11 km long, with about 70 m of positive elevation gain, and is of easy difficulty: an ideal choice even for those who don't usually ride but want to explore Florence in a different way. The itinerary alternates between side streets, bike paths, short urban stretches, and about 2 km of trails, offering a varied but smooth experience. In the busiest spots or in pedestrian areas, you may need to get off your bike and walk for a few meters.
During the tour, you will cross the Oltrarno and reach the Giardini delle Scuderie Reali, a lesser-known green space near Porta Romana and Boboli. From here, the ride continues towards Palazzo Pitti and Ponte Vecchio, among the most iconic views of central Florence. Following the Arno, you'll arrive in the San Niccolò area, where the Rampe del Poggi lead to the Rose Garden, perfect for a scenic break with views of the city.
The last part of the tour passes through Piazza Santa Croce and the historic streets of the center, before returning to the starting point.
