5-Day East Coast Tour Overview
Day 1: New York - Finger Lakes - Niagara Falls
The journey commences at 6:30 am with departure from New York, heading towards the Finger Lakes area. Experience stunning views of the Delaware Water Gap and the scenic Watkins Glen State Park during the drive.
Once in Niagara Falls, you will enjoy the charm of Seneca Lake, framed by vineyards and delightful towns. We will explore the American Falls, Goat Island, and Luna Island.
Before retiring for the night at our hotel, Ramada by Wyndham, we will take in the mesmerizing colors of the falls illuminated at night.
Day 2: Niagara Falls - Toronto - 1000 Islands
The second day begins with breathtaking views of the Horseshoe Falls followed by a visit to the quaint village of Niagara on The Lake. Our next stop is Toronto, Canada’s largest city.
In Toronto, we will explore key attractions such as HTO Park, the Hockey Hall of Fame at Brookfield Place, City Hall, and The Distillery Historic District.
In the afternoon, we will depart Toronto to visit Lake Ontario, one of North America's five Great Lakes, before arriving in the 1000 Islands region. We will spend the night at the Comfort Inn in Gananoque.
Day 3: 1000 Islands - New York
The day kicks off with a scenic cruise on the St. Lawrence River through the renowned 1000 Islands archipelago, a cherished summer retreat since the 1800s. Keep watch for the impressive homes on the private islands, including Boldt Castle and Heart Island.
On our return to New York, we will pause at one of the largest outlet shopping centers. Then it’s off to the La Quinta Inn and Suites in Clifton, New Jersey for the night.
Day 4: New Jersey - Philadelphia - Washington DC
As the tour continues, we depart from New Jersey and make our way to Pennsylvania’s largest city. In Philadelphia, we will visit historic sites including the Liberty Bell, Constitution Square, Congress Hall, and Elfreth's Alley, the oldest continuously inhabited street in America.
We’ll wander through the city’s financial district, walk along Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and explore other significant landmarks. We’ll also stop at the 'Rocky Steps' at the Museum of Art, famed from the film 'Rocky', before heading to Lancaster County, the oldest Amish settlement in the USA.
In the afternoon, we will journey to Washington arriving by evening and checking in at the Wyndham Garden Hotel.
Day 5: Washington DC - New York
The final day begins with a visit to the Thomas Jefferson Memorial, which is graced by the stunning Tidal Basin and surrounded by cherry blossom trees. Afterwards, we will explore Arlington National Cemetery, including the Changing of the Guard ceremony and the Kennedy family gravesite.
Following this, we’ll admire Capitol Hill and tour the US Capitol and the White House, learning about the workings of the US government. We’ll also visit the Air and Space Museum and pay our respects at the Lincoln, Martin Luther King, Korea, and Vietnam Memorials.
After a fulfilling day, we will leave Washington and arrive back in New York by evening, concluding our tour.

Please note that in April, the Day 2 itinerary may be adjusted based on weather conditions, which could require a return to Niagara Falls for an overnight stay at Wyndham Super 8.

- The tour will depart at 6:30 am outside the Port Authority Bus Terminal at the side entrance, 330W 42nd between 8th and 9th Avenue, New York. You can see the exact location at this Google Maps link.
- Luggage is limited to one piece and a small carry-on per person.
- At the Arlington National Cemetery you'll need to present a valid passport to enter.
