Ride a glass elevator and see the city skyline from above

SUMMIT Ascent tickets include the complete SUMMIT Experience plus access to SUMMIT’s most thrilling add-on!

With Ascent, Guests will step into an all-glass exterior elevator that travels 12 stories up the side of One Vanderbilt, reaching the highest viewing point from the tallest tower in Midtown Manhattan at over 100 stories up.

Once inside SUMMIT One Vanderbilt, step into Air by Kenzo Digital at 91 stories and navigate mirrored rooms that alter your perception of space. Capture your likeness in 3D and watch as your face transforms into a cloud, drifting across an endless digital sky on a massive screen.

Check out Reflect an art installation from world-famous Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama. Continue to Levitation, where you step onto a glass ledge suspended 1,063 feet above Madison Avenue. Stand above the skyline and look out at New York’s architecture from a vantage few others get to see.

The entrance is on the Main Concourse of Grand Central Terminal, below street level
Arrive 15 minutes before your timeslot
Present your SUMMIT One Vanderbilt ticket at the entrance
Tickets are timed. Arrivals over 20 minutes late may require waiting for an open slot or rescheduling (with a fee) based on availability
Please note: if Ascent is unavailable the day of your visit, you still get access to all three SUMMIT floors + a $24 (and tax) refund for the Ascent portion of your ticket

No stilettos, steel-toe boots, cleats, or footwear that may damage floors
If visiting during the day, sunglasses are recommended
No outside food/drinks, smoking, e-cigs, bags, or weapons
Restrooms available after first 15 mins of visit (on first floor)
Foldable strollers only
Children aged 0-5: free, no ticket needed
No storage for personal items – large bags, large backpacks and luggage are not permitted
Dress appropriately – to avoid unwanted exposure and slips/falls, we recommend wearing pants and flat shoes
