Tour Details
Your adventure begins with a pickup from your chosen location or a meeting at the bus terminal in Reykjavík.Are you ready for an exciting horseback ride through Iceland's iconic Golden Circle?
We will kick off our day by hopping on a bus that will take us to the Eldhestar riding center, just outside of Hveragerði, where our gentle and hardy Icelandic horses await. You will ride for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, soaking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Following the ride, a delicious light lunch featuring soup and bread will be served at the Vellir farm.
Next, we will proceed to Geysir, a remarkable geothermal area where the famous Strokkur geyser erupts jets of boiling water as high as 65 ft (20 m). This geothermal wonder is so significant that it has given its name to geysers worldwide!
The journey continues to the magnificent Gullfoss, or Golden Falls. Nestled in a grand canyon along the Hvítá River, its breathtaking splendor is sure to leave you in awe. Following this, we will explore the remarkable Thingvellir National Park, celebrated for its geological significance and rich history.
After exploring these incredible sites, we'll board the bus for our return trip to Reykjavík, concluding our adventure approximately 9.5 hours later.

Instructions
On the day of the activity, you'll need to go to the pickup point you selected during your booking. The bus will pick you up 60 minutes before the indicated time. Please note that the buses will be Reykjavik Excursions or Grayline buses.
If you have chosen to go directly to the meeting point, we'll meet 30 minutes before the designated time at: BSÍ Bus Terminal, Vatnsmýrarvegur 10, Reykjavík 101, IS.

Activity Recommendations
We recommend wearing comfortable pants and suitable shoes or boots for mountain walking and horse riding, as well as gloves and a scarf. If you want to bring your camera, please bring a small waist bag as backpacks are not allowed while riding the horses.
