Description
Explore Stockholm from the water on a cruise through Djurgården’s leafy canal. This island, known for its parks and woodland, offers a peaceful contrast to the city streets and has been associated with the Swedish Royal Family since the 15th century.
Itinerary
At your chosen departure time, board at Skeppsbron and set off along the Royal Canal. Built in 1834 on the Swedish king’s commission, the waterway provides access to different parts of the island. As you sail, take in views of Stockholm Palace, then continue past green spaces, museums such as Skansen and Vasa, and lakes where herons and owls live. The route also offers views of Gröna Lund, Södermalm and Östermalm. After around one hour, return to the departure pier.
