If you're in Palermo and want to explore two of the most beautiful places in Sicily, don't miss this day trip to Erice and Marsala.
Description
At the indicated time, we'll meet at via Volturno 44 in Palermo and board the vehicle for an adventure to Erice and Marsala.
The first stop will be the medieval and hilly village of Erice. We will stroll through its cobbled streets, enjoying incredible views from the hilltop, including panoramic points overlooking the Egadi Islands and the city of Trapani.
We will also take a break to taste a Sicilian granita, a typical sorbet of the island.
Then, we will continue to Marsala, known for the production of sweet wine and its salt pans. This scenic route, approximately 30 kilometers (18 miles), features working windmills and salt basins.
While in Marsala, we will have time for a typical Sicilian lunch and wine tasting, along with the chance to sample local olive oil.
After a total of 9 hours, we will return to Palermo.
The meeting point may vary. Always check the tickets we sent you to confirm the final details before the activity.
