Details of the Day Trip
We will assemble at the Sihlquai bus park at the scheduled departure time and begin our journey from Zurich towards the stunning Bernese region.
Our initial destination will be Interlaken, a picturesque town situated between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz. After a short pause for photographs, we will board the bus to proceed to Grindelwald, a breathtaking village nestled in the Bernese Alps.
Upon our arrival in this enchanting locale, you will receive your cable car tickets for ascending to Mount First. Once atop the summit at an elevation of 2,100 meters (6,890 feet), you will have three hours to explore this iconic mountain.
Your cable car passage also grants you access to the First View observation platform as well as the Cliff Walk by Tissot suspension bridge. From this 40-meter (130-foot) walkway, you will be treated to stunning panoramic views of the Alpine landscape. Prepare to be amazed!
At the peak of Mount First, you can enjoy refreshments and, if inclined, participate in various activities that await. Just be sure to allocate enough time to descend via the cable car back to Grindelwald, where additional exploration of this delightful Alpine village awaits.
Our final visit will be to Lauterbrunnen, where you can wander through one of Switzerland's most enchanting villages before returning to our original meeting point in Zurich, concluding this 12-hour journey.
