Embark on an exhilarating day tour to the Damajagua Waterfalls, where you will experience the thrill of soaring through the air on zip lines and descending into stunning waterfalls nestled within the Dominican jungle. This adventure promises a captivating glimpse of Caribbean beauty!
Activity Overview
Our journey begins with a timely pickup from your hotel or cruise terminal, followed by a scenic 30-minute drive to the renowned Damajagua Waterfalls. These falls hold the title of the most celebrated in the region.
Once we arrive, prepare for a roughly 40-minute trek through enchanting forest paths. You will be immersed in the heart of the Dominican Republic, encased by vibrant foliage and the soothing sounds of wildlife.
As we progress towards the waterfalls, the excitement will intensify. Get ready to harness your adventure spirit with a series of 5 zip lines, propelling you above the jungle canopy and the breathtaking Damajagua canyon. Each zip line offers unique heights and lengths, delivering a blend of adrenaline and breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains and karst formations.
Following this adrenaline rush, our descent will guide us through 7 of Puerto Plata’s most stunning waterfalls. You’ll also have the opportunity to take a refreshing swim in the pools formed by the Damajagua cascades. Here, you can marvel at the cascading water as it flows into the natural pools, or charcos, that define this exquisite natural area.
Finally, we’ll make our way back to the initial meeting point. After a thrilling day, we’ll conclude our adventure and drop you back at your hotel or cruise port approximately 5 hours after pickup.
