10:30 AM. Meet at Osaka Dotonbori, in front of Kani Doraku East Branch. No need to plan. No need to wake up early. Just show up—and let the day unfold.
Today has four parts: ice monsters, strawberries, outlet shopping, and a light show. Each one is winter-only.
Stop 1: Strawberry Picking · All-You-Can-Eat · 40 min (12:00–12:40) An hour outside Osaka, we arrive at a strawberry farm. Inside the warm greenhouse, rows of strawberry plants stretch out before you—bright red fruit hanging among green leaves. Grab a pair of scissors, cut the ripest one, and pop it into your mouth. Sweet, with a hint of tartness. Juice bursts across your tongue. 40 minutes of all-you-can-eat winter sweetness.
(Strawberry picking and all-you-can-eat are included.)
Stop 2: Mt. Gozaisho Ropeway · Ice Monsters · 80 min (13:40–15:00) We head into the mountains. Snow appears at the roadside. At Yunoyama Onsen Station, you board one of Japan's largest ropeways—2,161 meters long, climbing 780 meters in about 12 minutes.
The view transforms as you rise—green to bare branches to pure white. And then you see them: ice monsters. Entire forests encased in ice. Every branch thickened with layers of frozen snow. They stand in the wind, each one unique—like animals, like people, like abstract sculptures. Step off at the summit. Walk into this black-and-white world. 80 minutes—enough to ride up, walk through the snow, take photos, and get back down before the cold sinks in too deep.
(Ropeway ticket is included.)
If the cable car/Core Five experience at Xiangshan is replaced or becomes unavailable, passengers will receive a full refund for the affected booking.
⚠️ Important: Temperatures at the summit can drop below -10°C. Wear a heavy winter jacket, non-slip boots, gloves, a hat, and a scarf. Without proper gear, you will not enjoy this experience.
Stop 3: Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima · 60 min (15:20–16:20) From the frozen mountain, we come back down to earth—Mitsui Outlet Park Jazz Dream Nagashima. About 300 stores. International and Japanese brands. Year-round discounts. 60 minutes—enough to hit your target shops, grab a few items, or just sit at the food court with a coffee.
(Shopping is self-funded.)
Stop 4: Nabana no Sato · Light Show · 90 min (17:30–19:00) We end the day at Nabana no Sato—Japan's premier winter illumination destination. Hundreds of thousands of lights illuminate the gardens, forming tunnels of color, seas of light, and glowing waterfalls. Walk through the tunnel of lights—blue, gold, pink cascading over you like a river of stars. Each year, a different theme. But every year, something stops you in your tracks.
(Nabana no Sato entry fee is self-funded—please purchase on-site.)
Return: Arrive Osaka around 21:30
If the cable car/Core Five experience at Xiangshan is replaced or becomes unavailable, passengers will receive a full refund for the affected booking.
