Dating back to the 13th century, the mine produced table salt until 2007 and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1978. Spanning nine levels, its tunnels extend for 300 kilometers and reach depths of 327 meters. Descend 380 steps to the first level, 64 meters underground, and return to the surface by lift from the third level at 135 meters.
