Description
Your tour departs from central Barcelona, from which you will head for the village of Monistrol de Montserrat. From Monistrol you will take the “Cremallera de Montserrat”, a cogwheel train with great views of the countryside and the mountain.
Once at the Montserrat Monastery, your guide will provide plenty of information about the site during a guided visit. Discover the history, legends, and importance of this place in the development of Catalonia. After walking through the monastery and visiting a couple of viewpoints, you will get back to the bus.
After Montserrat, you will head to a boutique winery. Upon arrival, your local guide will lead a tour of the vineyards and cellar. To end this perfect day, you will sample three regional wines served with a delicious local cold tapas lunch.

Important information
Know in advance:
- There is a limit of 20 people per guide, although transportation will be shared with other groups. Under exceptional situations, the group may increase up to 22 people
- Please be aware that due to unforeseen circumstances, the sequence of visits may change. In such cases, the winery will be visited first, followed by Montserrat
- Temperatures in Montserrat and the winery tend to be more extreme than in Barcelona. Please check the weather forecast the day before and dress accordingly
- Your guide will ask you about any special dietary requirements and food restrictions at the beginning of the tour
- Infants aged 3 or less may join the tour free of charge but note that no car seat or meals are provided
- For logistic reasons, you might visit another winery instead of Oller del Mas
