Meet your guide at São Bento Station and start with a 1-hour guided walk through Porto’s historic center. Instead of worrying about where to go or what to talk about, simply enjoy the city together while your guide introduces you to Porto’s stories, beautiful streets, and hidden details.
From São Bento, walk through the historic center towards Clérigos, the University Quarter, and Praça de Gomes Teixeira — known locally as Praça dos Leões (Lions Square) — before continuing towards Rua das Flores.
Along the way, discover some of Porto’s most characteristic places and hear entertaining stories about the city, its people, traditions, relationships, and everyday life.
At Lions Square, take a moment to discover one of the liveliest corners of central Porto, surrounded by the university atmosphere and some of the city’s most recognizable architecture. It is also a perfect place for a small first-date photo or playful question before continuing the walk.
At the end of the guided part, your guide gives you a sealed Porto First Date Envelope. Inside is everything you need to continue your date independently for approximately 2 more hours.
The envelope contains conversation cards designed to help you get to know each other naturally, playful challenges for two, “choose together” cards, photo challenges, surprising questions, little Porto stories, and suggestions for atmospheric places to stop along the route.
Some questions are funny. Some are unexpected. Some help you discover things about each other that probably wouldn’t come up during an ordinary coffee date. Nothing is compulsory. Pick the cards you like, skip the ones you don’t, and make the experience your own.
