Discover one of the most unique destinations in the Mediterranean on a small-group day trip to Gibraltar from Málaga. Discover the blend of British and Mediterranean culture in this territory and enjoy some free time to explore its main streets and well-known shopping areas.
After the transfer from Málaga, you'll arrive in Gibraltar to discover the destination your own way. You'll have free time in Gibraltar to stroll down Main Street, explore Casemates Main Square and the historic buildings, sample the local cuisine, or even do some shopping.
If you want to round off your Gibraltar experience in one day, you can optionally add three options:
- A Gibraltar 360° sightseeing tour, a guided panoramic tour of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes around some of the territory's most iconic sites.
Drive along the coast past Camp Bay and Europa Waterfall to reach Europa Point, the southernmost point of Gibraltar. On clear days, you can see the Strait, the African coast, and the Ibrahim-al-Ibrahim Mosque from here, as well as enjoy privileged views of the Rock of Gibraltar and its surroundings.
Continue to Catalan Bay, a picturesque bay with a fishing tradition, where you'll make a short sightseeing stop to admire its distinctive colorful houses. The tour will end at the Alameda Botanical Gardens, a peaceful natural area located at the foot of the Rock.
You can also customize the excursion with other optional experiences, such as going up to the Rock Nature Reserve on a guided tour with transportation included to visit St. Michael's Cave, meet the famous Barbary macaques (Apes' Den), explore the Great Siege Tunnels, and enjoy the fantastic views from Queen's Balcony.
You also have the option of adding an approximately 1-hour 30-minute boat trip to see dolphins in the wild in the Strait of Gibraltar, which is part of the Intercontinental Mediterranean Biosphere Reserve.
During the journey to Gibraltar, your live guide will help you check availability and book the optional experiences, which come at an additional cost.
At the end of the day and at the time agreed with the guide, you will rejoin the group for the drop-off from Gibraltar to Málaga.
