TOUR DURATION OPTIONS & COMPARISON

Central Park offers far more to discover than can be covered in a short tour, so we offer three durations to match your available time and interests. The 1-hour and 1.5-hour options focus on the Lower and central areas of the park, while our 2-hour Ultimate Explorer covers the entire park from south to north, including the Upper Loop and its major landmarks.

Longer tours also provide more time for photo stops, sightseeing, and exploring additional areas of the park without feeling rushed.

Approx. 1 Hour — Standard Explorer (Lower Loop)

Follows the historic Lower Loop—the heart of Central Park. Ideal for guests looking to see the park’s essential landmarks in a comfortable pedicab tour.

Photo Stops: Bethesda Terrace & Fountain, Cherry Hill, and Strawberry Fields.

Scenic Passes (Ride-By Only): Wollman Ice Skating Rink, Central Park Carousel, Chess & Checkers House, and The Mall.

Please note: This option covers the Lower Loop only and does not include the Upper Loop or the additional landmarks available on the longer tours.

Approx. 1.5 Hours — Deep-Dive Explorer (Expanded South End)

An expanded pedicab tour that includes everything in the 1-Hour tour, plus additional landmarks around the southern and central areas of the park. The additional time allows for more photo opportunities and sightseeing without feeling rushed.

Photo Stops: All 1-Hour stops, plus Umpire Rock and Gapstow Bridge.

Scenic Passes (Ride-By Only): All 1-Hour scenic passes, plus views of The Plaza Hotel, The Lake, Tavern on the Green, Sheep Meadow, and the Balto Statue.

Approx. 2 Hours — Ultimate Explorer (Full Park: South to North)

Our most comprehensive Central Park pedicab experience, covering the entire park from south to north, including the Upper Loop and major landmarks, gardens, scenic viewpoints, and historic sites that are not included in the shorter tours.

Photo Stops: All 1-Hour and 1.5-Hour stops, plus Belvedere Castle, Bow Bridge, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, Conservatory Garden, and Shakespeare Garden.
