Discover Rovellats in the heart of Penedes on a winery visit designed for cava and food lovers. This experience combines heritage, vineyard scenery, and traditional cellar craft, ending with a tasting of four emblematic cavas paired with artisan cheeses from small local producers.
Your visit begins with an introduction to Rovellats and its setting, including the estate's vineyards, modernist gardens, the 15th century masia, and the family chapel. From there, continue into the winery to learn more about the world of cava and the methods behind its production. One of the most distinctive parts of the experience is the underground radial cellar, located 12 metres below ground, where you get a closer look at the ageing environment that shapes these wines.
As the visit continues, you will witness a live artisan disgorgement of a Reserva cava aged for more than 24 months and taste it in the cellar. The experience then concludes with a guided tasting of four Rovellats cavas: Imperial Brut, Imperial Rose Brut, Gran Reserva Brut Nature, and Masia S. XV, a Gran Reserva aged for a minimum of 84 months. Each one is paired with four artisan cheeses, offering a clear sense of the winery's style and its connection to local gastronomy.
