Step inside one of Barcelona’s most celebrated buildings and discover a visit shaped by both architecture and contemporary art. This ticket includes general admission to La Pedrera, also known as Casa Milà, Antoni Gaudí’s landmark building, along with access to the major temporary exhibition “Anselm Kiefer.” Set within the former residence of the Milà family, the exhibition creates a rare dialogue between Gaudí’s organic architecture and Kiefer’s powerful artistic language.
Begin your visit by exploring the areas of La Pedrera that are open to the public. As you move through the building, take in Gaudí’s distinctive design, from the flowing forms and structural details to the mural paintings in the interior courtyards and the main staircase. Inspired by nature, these decorative elements add another layer to the visit and echo the material and symbolic richness associated with Kiefer’s work. The rooftop is one of the highlights, offering sweeping views and some of the city’s most iconic architectural forms.
The visit also includes access to the main floor, once the home of the Milà family and now the setting for the temporary exhibition from 2 October 2026 to 24 January 2027. This is the first major monographic exhibition in Barcelona dedicated to Anselm Kiefer, presenting around forty works and offering an introduction to his conceptual universe through reflections on memory, matter, and knowledge. To deepen the experience, visitors can use a musical itinerary and other downloadable resources via QR code, alongside sensory and cognitive accessibility services. The visit finishes after you have explored the exhibition and the building at your own pace.
