In a small group of 2 to 8 guests, immerse yourself in the world of Champagne and discover what makes these exceptional wines so remarkable. Each tasting is adapted to suit the level and desires of the participants. Appropriate for all, from novices to professionals.
What to expect: With a welcome glass in hand we will take a quick tour of the bar, wine store and terrace to settle into the space and take in the iconic view. Seated by the 18th century bar we will begin with a quick aroma game to awaken our senses and prepare us to experience champagne like never before. We then embark on an exploration of 5 selected cuvées where you will discover: Why Champagne is all about the art of blending. The secrets of the traditional Champagne method and how it captures the magical bubbles and can have you tasting toasty brioche in your glass. The influence of dosage, reserve wines, vintage and ageing on the style of a Champagne. The History of this iconic region, from Reims to Épernay, as well as the role played by the great champagne houses and independent growers who have shaped Champagne’s worldwide reputation.

About your guide: Danielle is a passionate and generous host who has over 20 years experience in the food and beverage industry, including 3 years as a wine merchant in Paris. She holds a Master of Teaching degree and French Wine Scholar diploma, is certified WSET3 in wine, WSET2 in spirits, and is about to finish her Master of Champagne certification. As a French-Australian, she is fluently bilingual in English and French.
