Palazzo Vecchio Small Group Tour

City Florence Tours invites you to visit the museum of Palazzo Vecchio, symbol of the history of Florence and of the Medici family, accompanied by a local and professional guide. Through this small group tour, you can fully appreciate the Renaissance era, entering from the priority entrance without long waiting lines. The building you are going to visit was built from the end of 1200 and was the second seat of the Florentine Republic. In 1500, the palace became the residence of Grand Duke Cosimo I de Medici and finally in 1800 it also became the seat of Parliament. Inside, you can visit the Halls of the Government of the Republic, the rooms of the Grand Ducal family, the Sala dei Gigli, the Sala delle Geografiche and the Sala della last Chancellor of the Republic. But the main attraction is the Salone dei 500, entirely frescoed by Giorgio Vasari. Nowadays, the building also represents the seat of the Municipality of Florence.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the activity in order to exchange the voucher for a direct entrance ticket and meet the guide.
