Iconic Italian scooter tour with lunch and wine from Florence

Discover the hidden roads of Chianti as you ride your own iconic Italian scooter through the scenic hills around San Gimignano, far from the crowds. Follow your local guide along quiet, winding lanes with stunning views of vineyards and Tuscan countryside.

After your ride, enjoy a delicious 3-course authentic Tuscan lunch paired with a guided wine tasting at a family-run winery.

You can choose between the following options available in the order box:

• Self-drive: This option is for guests who will personally drive their own scooter. They must be 18+ and hold a valid driving licence.
• Passenger 18+: This option is for guests who will ride on the back of a scooter driven by someone else, a member of the local team. Passengers do not drive; they simply join as a rider
• Shared scooter (2 pax: driver 18+, passenger 15+): This is a combined option for a booking of two people together sharing the same scooter: one will drive and the second one will be the passenger

Know in advance:

• Previous scooter/Vespa/motorcycle driving experience is required and mandatory: A driving test is conducted by the team before the tour to verify the real ability to drive and being confident on a scooter. Any participant unable to drive scooters safely may ride double with the partner or won’t allow attending the tour. No refunds will be granted in these cases
• Drivers must be at least 18 years old and passengers at least 15 years old

Remember to bring:

• A driving licence valid in Italy is required and must be presented upon arrival (no copy, only original)
• Passport (no copy, only original)
• Credit Card (no pre-paid, no debit, no Amex) for EUR 500.00 deposit per scooter. In the absence of these, it will not be possible to participate in the tour with no refund
• Comfortable, breathable clothes – e.g., jeans, leggings, or casual trousers. Avoid short skirts or very loose clothing
• Light jacket or raincoat– even in summer, it can get windy when riding. In case of a bad weather, make sure to bring a rain jacket
• Closed-toe shoes are mandatory. Sneakers or flat shoes with good grip are best. No sandals, flip-flops, or heels

Vehicle information:

• Max weight on the scooter is recommended at 160 kg total (353 lbs)
• Max speed of the vehicle is 48km/h (29.82 mph) on flat roads / 15km/h (9.32 mph) on hills
• The height of the saddle from the ground is 81cm (2'). Not recommended for people smaller than 1,60m (5’3”)
• The vehicle weighs 88kg (194lb)
