Enjoy history, art, and a fortress with views on this tour of Barcelona and Montjuïc. We'll discover the must-see monuments of the Catalan capital.

Barcelona & Montjuïc Castle Tour

At 10 am we'll meet in front of the Moja Palace to begin our guided tour of Barcelona.

We'll start the tour in Las Ramblas, in the heart of Barcelona. From there we'll go to the Boqueria Market, known for its modernist design and variety of products. The atmosphere here is notable.

The tour will continue to the Gran Teatre del Liceu, an important opera house in Europe. Our guide will explain Barcelona's modernist architecture. Then we'll walk to the Raval, the most multicultural district in the old town.

Next, we'll take the Montjuïc cable car up to the Montjuïc castle, where you'll explore this military fortress by visiting its rooms.

You'll enjoy views of Barcelona, and if weather permits, possibly see the Pyrenees.

After a three-and-a-half-hour guided tour, we will end at the castle exit.

Please note that from February 2 through March 2, 2025, the Montjuïc cable car will be out of service. This part of the tour will instead be done by bus or another means of transport.

Instructions

On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the indicated time in front of the Moja Palace (C/ de la Portaferrissa, 1 08002 Barcelona). We recommend arriving 15 minutes in advance.
