Visit the renowned Monserrat Monastery after a 1-hour trek in Montserrat Natural Park and a funicular ride up Catalonia’s famous mountain.
Tour Details
At the indicated time, we will meet at Carrer Martí i Franquès 21. Before departing, enjoy a panoramic bus tour of Passeig de Gràcia and see the Pedralbes Royal Palace.
Next, we will take a 1-hour bus journey to the mountainside of Montserrat Mountain, which stands at 1,236 meters above sea level. We'll visit the Santa Maria de Montserrat Abbey, a 10th-century Romanesque building that houses the relic of Our Lady of Montserrat, patron saint of Catalonia.
You will ascend to the Montserrat Natural Park via the Sant Joan funicular. Enjoy panoramic views of the abbey as you ascend. Following this, a 1-hour trek will lead you to Montserrat's summit, offering views of Barcelona.
To recharge, enjoy a tasting of coca de Montserrat, a local specialty. After this, free time will be available for further exploration before returning to the starting point.
We will then head to Avinguda Diagonal 359, completing the tour in a total of 5.5 hours.
Can We See the Escolania de Montserrat Choir?
The Escolania de Montserrat, the oldest boys' choir in Europe, performs from Monday to Friday. Attendance depends on availability. If possible, you may have the opportunity to watch the choir, subject to schedules and venue capacity.

We'll meet at the indicated time at Carrer Martí i Franquès 21, 08028, Les Corts, Barcelona. Please be there 15 minutes in advance.
Please note that on weekends, there may be delays in the tour due to the large number of tourists at the monastery.
