Day Trip to Girona, Pals & Calella
Your journey begins with a pick-up from your accommodation, as we set forth to explore one of Spain's most captivating cities: Girona.
Our adventure kicks off in the historic heart of the city, where evidence of Roman and medieval times can be witnessed in harmony. Prepare for a step back into history!
Wander through the winding alleys of the Jewish quarter, recognized as one of Europe's oldest, and be led to the magnificent Girona Cathedral. Here, you'll find the largest Gothic nave in Europe. Before we proceed, we'll also stop by the iconic Eiffel Bridge, spanning the picturesque Onyar river.
Next, we will explore the charming village of Pals. This medieval settlement has retained its original cobblestone streets, delightful homes draped in vines, and quaint plazas. It’s a sight to behold!
Our final destination will be Calella, a traditional fishing village that boasts some of the most beloved beaches along the Costa Brava. Time permitting, you’ll have the chance to enjoy a refreshing swim in its delightful waters.
After a fulfilling day, we will board the bus to head back to Barcelona.
Instructions
On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Barcelona at the indicated time between 8 and 9 am.
The day before the activity, we'll send you an email with the specific pickup time at your hotel, as well as the guide's name and telephone number.
We recommend being at the hotel reception 15 minutes in advance.
