Experience the grandeur of Windsor Castle with this enriching day excursion from London. This journey features return transport and entry, allowing you to traverse the castle grounds and key areas at your leisure—an essential visit for anyone exploring the British capital.
Description
We'll commence our adventure at the designated meeting point in central London and travel westward by bus to Windsor. Upon arrival, the castle will be your primary focus as the town’s most significant landmark.
Constructed in the 11th century, Windsor Castle is set amidst expansive and meticulously maintained gardens, highlighted by its iconic Round Tower. As you wander through its halls, you'll quickly grasp the affinity the royals have for this magnificent site. Notably, it stands as the oldest and largest continuously inhabited castle worldwide!
Once you disembark, you're free to begin your exploration of the castle's numerous rooms using an English audio guide, ensuring you absorb all its intricate details. You'll encounter artworks housed within the State Apartments and can admire St. George's Chapel, the serene final resting place of notable figures, including Henry VIII and Queen Elizabeth II.
After your visit inside Windsor Castle, enjoy some leisure time to explore the surrounding fortress or to relish a meal at one of the nearby restaurants.
In conclusion, we will make our way back to London, with the tour wrapping up approximately 4 to 5.5 hours post pickup, returning you to central London.
Family Ticket
When making your reservation, there is an option for a family ticket, which accommodates two adults and two children aged between 3 and 16 years old.
The meeting point may vary. Always check the tickets we sent you to confirm the final details before the activity.

Instructions
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the designated time at Bus Stop 1, Bulleid Way, 123-151 Buckingham Palace Rd, Victoria, London SW1W 9SH. We recommend arriving at the meeting point at least 30 minutes before the tour begins.

Driver and Audio Guide
This is a self-guided tour, so you won't have a guide during the visit. The bus driver will give you the necessary directions in English for the trip, but will not provide any explanations about Windsor Castle. Once there, you can explore the site at your own pace with an audio guide.
