Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll meet at De Ruijterkade, 151, located near the Amsterdam Centraal station. Ready to discover one of Europe’s most beautiful countries?
Leaving the Netherlands behind, we will embark on a journey of approximately 2.5 hours to the capital of Belgium. Prior to the guided tour of Brussels, we will take a 30-minute break near the Atomium for photos. The guided tour will then begin, focusing on the historic center where you’ll see the exterior of the Cathedral of St. Michael and St. Gudula.
Continuing through Brussels, we will visit the Grand Place, often hailed as one of the most stunning squares in Europe. After admiring the facade of the Town Hall, known for its distinct Brabantine Gothic style, we will head to see the famous Manneken Pis, discovering the story behind this well-known sculpture.
Following the tour, you’ll have free time in Brussels to explore and sample the local cuisine. Some of the must-try products include waffles, chocolates, fries, and beers. If you're interested in comics, feel free to visit a comic book store.
After our free time in Brussels, we will reconvene in the city center to travel to northern Belgium for a guided tour of Bruges. This part of the trip will take you through one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Europe, showcasing iconic places such as Grote Markt. Here, you can admire the Belfort, a bell tower that symbolizes the old town.
Throughout the Bruges tour, we will stroll through its picturesque streets by the canals, allowing you to appreciate the charm of these cobbled pathways. You’ll also have free time to explore this enchanting Flemish city at your own pace.
In conclusion, we will regroup in the center of Bruges before returning to the meeting point in Amsterdam, wrapping up this 15-hour day trip.
