On board the Madrid tourist bus from the Big Bus company, you'll be able to take in the main attractions around Madrid, such as Gran Vía, or Puerta de Alcalá.
Bus Tour Details
At the designated time, we’ll meet at Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo, also known as Plaza de Neptuno. From this central point, you’ll hop onto a modern, double-decker bus to begin our scenic route of Madrid.
During the tour, enjoy views of Madrid aboard the comfortable double-decker bus. You’ll learn about the monuments seen through onboard commentary.
The tour passes iconic spots such as the Prado Museum, Almudena Cathedral, Royal Palace, and Retiro Park. Other locations include the Royal Botanical Garden and the Las Ventas Bullfighting Ring.
After enjoying some of Madrid's top sights, we’ll return to the meeting point after a total of 1.5 hours.

Schedule & Frequency
The Madrid tourist bus by the Big Bus company follows its route daily from 9:30 am until 6:50 pm, with a frequency of around 45 minutes.
Starting October 29, 2025, the bus will begin its route at 10 am, with the last departure at 6:30 pm, except from November 28, 2025, to January 7, 2026, when the last departure will be at 4:30 pm.
Please keep in mind that these schedules are flexible and subject to change.
Meeting Point Change
Every Sunday, the Paseo del Prado is closed from 9 am to 4 pm. The meeting point for the sightseeing buses will be on Calle Alfonso XII, next to the main entrance of the Retiro Park.
Instructions
The Madrid tourist bus route from the Big Bus company begins at Plaza de Cánovas del Castillo Square, also known as Plaza de Neptuno Square. You'll find the Big Bus stop in front of the Tourist Office. Please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the tour.

Even though a start date is requested, you can make use of the service for 2 weeks after the original date stated. In the event of wanting to make a change to the date, you must contact Civitatis Customer Service.
After making your booking you'll be sent a voucher by email which you will have to present on the bus.
Meeting Point Change
