The Madrid City Tour sightseeing bus provides three distinct routes to experience the charm of the historic center, the modern districts, and the vibrant contemporary areas of the city. This flexible option allows you to explore Madrid at your leisure.
Routes & Stops
With your ticket for the Madrid sightseeing bus, you will be able to access the following routes:
- Route 1, Blue Line (Historic Madrid): This journey takes roughly 85 minutes and highlights the key sites within the historic center, featuring locations such as Puerta de Alcalá, Gran Vía, Museo del Prado, Fuente de Cibeles, Templo de Debod, Palacio Real de Madrid, and Catedral de la Almudena.
- Route 2, Green Line (Modern Madrid): Lasting about 70 minutes, this route includes the notable Cuatro Torres Business Area and passes landmarks like Estadio Santiago Bernabéu, Plaza de Colón, Museo Arqueológico Nacional, Calle Serrano, and Plaza de las Cortes.
- Route 3, Orange Line (Contemporary Madrid): This 75-minute route goes through iconic spots including Colón, Bilbao, Malasaña, and Gran Vía, highlighting the current and imaginative pulse of the city.

Hop On Hop Off Tour
You have the flexibility to hop on and off the sightseeing bus as often as you wish for either 24 or 48 hours, based on your selected tour option, giving you comprehensive access to all stops along the routes.
Ticket Validity
The ticket remains valid for either 24 or 48 hours, commencing from your first use. For instance, if a 24-hour ticket is activated on Monday at 3 pm, its validity will extend until Tuesday at 3 pm. All routes are available for use following ticket redemption.
How to Activate Your Ticket
Once you complete your booking, a confirmation will be sent to you via email. To activate your ticket, simply present it upon boarding the first bus. Activation begins at that moment, starting your ticket’s validity period. Although you will need to choose a start date at the time of booking, you can utilize the service within a timeframe of 15 days after the selected date.
Group Conditions
For groups exceeding 10 individuals, tickets should be collected on the day of the activity at the Prado Museum stop (Calle de Felipe IV). Each participant will receive an individual ticket. Alternatively, one group member may collect all tickets on behalf of the group if preferred.

Low season, from January 1 to March 14 and from November 1 to December 31:
- Route 1: operates from 10 am to 6:30 pm
- Route 2: operates from 10 am to 6:10 pm
- Route 3: operates from 10 am to 6:20 pm
Mid-season, from March 15 to March 31 and from October 16 to October 31:
- Route 1: operates from 10 am to 7:50 pm
- Route 2: operates from 10 am to 7:20 pm
- Route 3: operates from 10 am to 7:20 pm
High season, from April 1 through October 15, including Easter:
- Route 1: operates from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm
- Route 2: operates from 9:30 am to 8 pm
- Route 3: operates from 9:30 am to 8 pm
Estimated frequency throughout the year:

Complimentary Drink at La Quimera
From Monday to Sunday, between 12 pm and 4 pm, present your ticket at La Quimera, a renowned flamenco venue located at Calle Cuchilleros 7, near Plaza Mayor, and enjoy one complimentary drink of your choice.
Options include draft beer, Rioja red wine, white wine, water, or a soft drink.
Walking Tour of Madrid
Your ticket also encompasses a guided walking tour lasting 2 hours through central Madrid. During your bus ride, details regarding schedules and meeting points for this experience will be provided.
Instructions
Madrid Sightseeing Bus
The Madrid tourist bus starts and ends at Plaza Cánovas del Castillo (Neptuno).
Although a starting date is requested when booking, you can use the service during the 15 days following the date indicated. The ticket allows access to the Madrid City Tour bus, as long as there are free seats. In the event of bad weather or disruption of the service for reasons beyond the control of UTE Madrid City Tour, the ticket will not be refunded.
The ticket must be kept for the duration of the tour, as it may be required by company staff at any time. If you lose it, you will not be able to access or continue the service.
If you are a group of more than 10 people, you must exchange your voucher at the Madrid City Tour stop at the Prado Museum (Calle de Felipe IV, s/n, 28014 Madrid) on the same day as the activity.
