Discover the charm of Nerja and neighboring villages near Malaga on this memorable day trip. Immerse yourself in the stunning coastal and mountainous scenery!
Description
Our adventure begins at 10 am, gathering at Paseo de la Farola in Malaga. From here, we will embark on a scenic forty-five-minute minibus journey to Nerja.
The first highlight on our itinerary is the Mirador del Bendito, where breathtaking vistas of Carabeillo Beach and the sparkling Alboran Sea await. Following this, we will make our way to the renowned 'Balcony of Europe' (Balcón de Europa). This historical fortress has transformed into a must-visit site, presenting remarkable panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
After capturing stunning photographs, we will continue our exploration at Calahonda Beach, visit the Church of El Salvador, and unwind at El Salón Beach. After enjoying about an hour and a half in Nerja, we will journey onwards to Frigiliana, celebrated as one of Andalusia's most picturesque pueblos blancos.
Upon our arrival in this picturesque village, you will have the chance to admire the Palace of the Counts of Frigiliana (Palacio de los Condes). Known as 'El Ingenio,' this 16th-century structure is steeped in history. Our knowledgeable guide will then lead us through the charming historic center, sharing insights into one of the village’s famous products: cane honey.
You will have over an hour to enjoy lunch in Frigiliana. Alternatively, if the group prefers, we can head directly to El Acebuchal for a meal there.
Post-lunch, join us for a 30-minute guided stroll through the captivating streets of El Acebuchal, where you will discover its history and uncover the story behind its nickname, the 'Lost Village'.
This enriching day will conclude with our return to Malaga, where we expect to arrive around 5 pm.
