On this excursion from Milan, we'll enter the Lake District at the base of the Italian Alps. Depending on the season, we'll either take a cruise to Bellagio or a funicular to Brunate.
Tour Details
We will depart from the center of Milan and travel north by bus towards the Italian Lake District, with Lake Como as the main focus. After a 1-hour drive, we will reach the historic center of Como and begin our tour by viewing the Como Cathedral.
Depending on the season, we can either board a boat for a lake cruise or take a leisurely walk along the harbor for views of Lake Como. On clear days, the Swiss alpine mountains can be seen across the lake.
Next, we will either ascend to Brunate by funicular or visit Bellagio by boat, both providing scenic views. In Brunate, you'll enjoy vistas of Como and the western Alps, while Bellagio offers a chance to explore a picturesque village known for inspiring many artists. You will have free time to explore either location.
Finally, we will return to Milan by bus, concluding the tour.
