Embark on an enlightening journey through the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel, where one of the most significant collections of art awaits discovery. This experience includes priority entry to make the most of your visit.
Tour Overview
At the scheduled time, we will convene at a convenient meeting point close to the Vatican to initiate our guided exploration. Are you prepared to delve into one of the largest museum complexes in Europe?
With exclusive access to the Vatican Museums, we will bypass the lengthy queues typical at the entrance, allowing us to immerse ourselves in a treasure trove of sculptures, paintings, and art spanning various eras.
Beyond its magnificence, this site has echoes of a complex history rife with intrigue and tumultuous tales. Our journey will unveil these stories as we explore the Vatican.
Our visitation will not be complete without entering the Sistine Chapel, renowned for Michelangelo's breathtaking frescoes. This chapel, the venue for papal conclaves, holds some of the most celebrated artworks in history. Your guide will provide commentary on this significant hall before or after our entry, ensuring compliance with the Vatican's expectations for silence and reverence.
The tour will last approximately 2.5 to 3 hours, concluding with our farewell inside the museum.

Policy for Children Under 18
Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Reservations for more than 10 children per adult are not permitted.
Important Notice
From February 2026, there will be significant maintenance on Michelangelo's 'The Last Judgement' for approximately three months. The Sistine Chapel will remain open to the public throughout this period, allowing for regular visits. Restoration efforts will take place behind a high-definition canvas depicting the fresco, minimizing any visual disruption for guests.

Instructions
The tour starts at Viale Giulio Cesare 229, at the door of the Giulio Cesare Cinema (100 meters from the metro stop Ottaviano, Line A). The guide will be waiting with a sign saying TOURISMOTION.
Here, you can find a link to the exact location.
Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before the scheduled time. The tour starts promptly, and if you're late, we won’t be able to provide you with the tickets to enter on your own. Please note that your reservation is for a guided tour with group tickets, not individual tickets. If you do not arrive at the meeting point at the scheduled time, the local team will not be able to give you your tickets, as they are for group use only and at specific times.
Important Info
- Dress Code: To enter the Sistine Chapel, women must cover their shoulders and knees and avoid low-cut tops. Men are also required to wear trousers or shorts that reach the knees.
- Please arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes in advance in order to check in. If you're late, you won't be able to catch up with the group, and you won't be eligible for a refund.
- Small backpacks and umbrellas, bottles of water, and food are allowed as long as they are not used/consumed inside the facilities.
- We remind you that the activity is carried out in groups and is guided, so it's expected to follow a specific route, which cannot be done in wheelchairs or with strollers. Strollers can be left in the cloakroom at the beginning of the tour and cannot be picked up until the end of the tour. The tour is not recommended for people who have difficulty walking.
- Please note that the Holy See may close the Sistine Chapel for religious celebrations without prior notice. In these cases, no refund will be made.
- The tour includes admission tickets to the various attractions: you'll access the monuments with priority access, skipping the ticket office queues. During peak periods, it's not always possible to skip the queue that may form at the priority access. In any case, the queue will be much faster than for visitors without a reserved ticket.
- People with a disability of more than 74% can obtain a refund of the museum entrance fee. To do so, they must inform the provider and attach the handicap certificate at least 72 hours before the start of the tour. Failure to give prior notice will result in the loss of the right to reimbursement of the ticket.
- The Sistine Chapel is a place of worship. Therefore, talking and taking pictures and/or videos is prohibited. The guides will share info about the Chapel outside instead of inside for this reason.
- This ticket is not valid for school groups. If you show up to the tour with a school group, you won't be able to access the monument and it'll be necessary to purchase the correct type of tickets after checking availability.
- Starting in February 2026, and for approximately 3 months, extraordinary maintenance work will be carried out on Michelangelo's 'The Last Judgement'. However, the Sistine Chapel will remain open and can be visited as normal throughout the duration of the work. The restoration will be carried out behind a large high-definition canvas reproducing the image of the fresco, thus minimising the visual impact on visitors.
Partial Closures
In the event of extraordinary closures or restrictions imposed by the Vatican Museums, no refund will be made. The itinerary of the visit may change, but the duration of the visit will remain the same.
