As we travel southward, the stunning scenery of the Italian countryside will unfold before us. After approximately 3 hours on the road, we will reach the Pompeii archaeological site, where a captivating 1.5-hour guided exploration awaits.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Pompeii is renowned for being one of the best-preserved ancient cities in existence. Did you know this city was concealed under volcanic ash from Mount Vesuvius? Our guide will lead you through the ancient streets, revealing insights into Roman life as we visit key landmarks such as the Forum, the theatre, and the beautiful villas decorated with frescoes and mosaics.
Feeling hungry? Following the tour, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy some time on your own to find a meal in Pompeii. We will then come together to head towards the stunning coastal town of Sorrento, celebrated for its breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea, abundant lemon trees, and quaint cottages. Upon arrival, our journey will begin with a visit to a local shop where you can taste the legendary limoncello. Afterwards, you'll have between 1 to 2 hours of free time to wander through its picturesque streets.
