Tour Details
Day 1
The adventure starts with your pickup from the hotel. We will travel via the Autostrada del Sole towards the south, passing through the lush Roman countryside and the Castelli Romani area, where history unfolded at Montecassino Abbey during World War II.
Your first stop is Sorrento. Here, you will enjoy a brief bus tour of the historic center, followed by hotel check-in and some time to unwind. You will have the rest of the day to explore Sorrento at your leisure. Consider starting your visit at Piazza Tasso, the vibrant heart of the city, lined with restaurants, cafés, and neoclassical architecture.
Don’t overlook the Chiostro di San Francesco, a tranquil area with beautiful arches and sea views, ideal for cherishing the essence of the Amalfi Coast. To the west, Marina di Puolo awaits, a quaint fishing district adorned with colorful houses that complement the turquoise hues of the Tyrrhenian Sea. You will surely be enchanted!
In the evening, you will have dinner at the hotel before resting for the next day.
Day 2
After breakfast, we will depart on a boat to Capri, reaching the renowned Marina Grande port. Our first visit, weather permitting, will be the remarkable Blue Grotto, a natural sea cave known for its incredible blue illumination.
The final destination of the day is Capri town, the main hub of the island, where you will have free time to meander, visit the iconic Piazzetta, shop for mementos, and capture unforgettable images.
We will return to Sorrento for a delightful dinner at the hotel, concluding another exciting day.
Day 3
On the final day, after breakfast, you will have some free time in Sorrento to soak up the town’s charm. Around midday, we will head to Pompeii. Upon arrival, you’ll skip the lines and join a guided tour of the ruins, stepping back into the days of Ancient Rome. The tour includes visits to the Forum, the political and social nucleus of the city, encircled by temples and columns that echo its former splendor.
You will also explore the House of the Faun, known for its exquisite mosaic of Alexander the Great, and the House of the Vettii, famous for its beautifully preserved mythological frescoes.
After the tour, we will make our way back to Rome, arriving around 8 pm at the city center or near your hotel if you prefer.
