Experience a day trip to Tulum, where you'll uncover ancient archaeological sites overlooking the Caribbean Sea, and immerse yourself in a genuine Maya purification ritual.
Activity Details
At the designated time, our team will greet you at your hotel in Cancun for the journey to Tulum. During the approximately 2-hour ride, you will gain insights into the history of the Maya civilization and the significance of this area within the Yucatan Peninsula.
Before we arrive at the archaeological site, we will pause at a nearby Maya community. Here, a shaman will hold a purification ceremony, an ancient practice aimed at cleansing one's energies and connecting with the spiritual essence of the area—a truly distinctive experience!
Following this cultural encounter, we will embark on a guided exploration of the Tulum ruins. Over the course of an hour, you’ll discover this historical Maya port that's perched on a cliff, providing breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea.
During our journey through the ruins, intriguing stories about the purposes of various structures and the lifestyle of Tulum's ancient residents will be shared. It’s worth noting that this site was among the last Maya settlements to be deserted.
Once the tour concludes, you'll have an hour of leisure time to wander freely, capture photos, and take in the stunning environment. You can leisurely stroll among the temples and walls, feeling the refreshing sea breeze while admiring the vibrant hues of the Caribbean.
With cherished memories and a renewed spirit, we will begin our return journey to Cancun, culminating in a total trip duration of around 7 hours.

This tour includes pickup from hotels situated within the Cancun Hotel Zone. If your accommodation is outside this area, we will reach out to you post-booking to coordinate a suitable meeting point.

On the day of the activity, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Cancun. Please be ready at the front desk 10 minutes in advance.
We remind you that this activity includes pickup only at the accommodations located in the Hotel Zone of Cancun. If you are staying outside this area, the local tour supplier will contact you to provide an alternative meeting point.
Tickets and Fees Not Included
