Lisbon Sightseeing Bus Route
This enjoyable route lasts 1 hour and 50 minutes, covering essential sights in Lisbon's historic areas like Avenida da Liberdade, Eduardo VII Park, and the striking Belém Tower.
The buses operate daily from 9 am to 5:30 pm every 30 minutes.
The Lisbon Tram
Experience one of the most traditional modes of transportation in Lisbon. The sightseeing tram leaves from Praça do Comercio and takes riders through culturally rich neighborhoods like Alfama and Chiado.
Note: This tram ride is not included in the 24-hour ticket.
Schedule
The tram operates daily from 9:30 am to 6 pm, with departures every 30 minutes.
The Sightseeing Boat
Enjoy a unique perspective of Lisbon with a 90-minute cruise on the Tagus River. From the boat, take in panoramic views of landmarks like the 25th of April Bridge, Jeronimos Monastery, and São Jorge Castle.
Note: This boat trip is not included in the 24 and 48-hour tickets.

The Lisbon sightseeing boat operates on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with two departure points:
- From Terreiro do Paço ferry terminal: daily at 11:30 am, 2:30 pm, and 4:30 pm
- From Belém terminal: daily at 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 5:30 pm
How Does It Work?
Your ticket is valid for 24, 48, 72, or 96 hours, depending on the chosen option during booking. The ticket activates upon first use on any transport method.
During this time, you may hop on and off as desired, such as alighting in Belém to tour the Jerónimos Monastery and then catching the next bus.
Although you must select a start date when booking, the tourist bus ticket remains valid for up to three months from that date.
After booking, a voucher will be emailed to you, which you must present when using the bus for the first time.
Instructions
The ticket is valid for 24, 48, 72 or 96 hours, depending on the option you have chosen when booking and starts counting from the moment you validate it with the driver on the tourist bus.
Please note that you can redeem the ticket on any of the buses.
If you have booked the combo ticket, you'll also have to exchange the ticket on the tourist buses.
Operating Hours & Frequency
- The buses run daily from 9 am to 5:30 pm every 30 minutes.
The Lisbon sightseeing tram (not available with the 24-hour ticket) runs a single route that operates daily from 9:30 am to 6 pm every 30 minutes. The route starts from stop 1 of the bus (Praça do Comércio).
On the other hand, the Lisbon sightseeing boat runs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, and has two departure points with the following schedules:
- Departing from Terreiro do Paço ferry terminal: daily at 11:30 am, 2:30 pm and 4:30 pm
- Departing from Belém terminal: daily at 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm, and 5:30 pm
However, please note that these schedules are flexible and subject to change.
Carris Museum
Your ticket includes admission to the Carris Museum. You can visit during opening hours by showing your sightseeing bus ticket.
The Carris Museum is open Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm.

Until further notice, Lisbon's funicular railways and the Santa Justa Elevator will remain closed for safety reasons. If your tour of Lisbon included the use of any of these modes of transport, please note that the itinerary will be adapted so that you can continue to enjoy the city. The guide will inform you of any changes to the route at the start of the activity. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
