St. George's Castle operates under the following hours:
- November to February: daily from 9 am to 7 pm, with final admission 30 minutes before closing.
- March to October: daily from 9 am to 9 pm, with final admission 30 minutes before closing.
Reduced Admission
Reduced admission is available for:
- Individuals under 26 years old
- Seniors aged 65 and above
To utilize these tickets, visit the ticket office with valid documentation. Note that reduced admission does not include an audio guide.

If you have booked a ticket with an audio guide, you'll also receive instructions on how to download the audio guide on your phone.
24 hours before the activity starts, you'll receive your ticket for the castle. Please check your email spam folder if you don't see the emails about how to download the audio guide on your phone.
You'll have to redeem your tickets at the entrance to St. George's Castle (R. de Santa Cruz do Castelo, 1100-129 Lisbon, Portugal).

- Please note that there may be long queues at the entrance to the monument.
- There is no meeting point. The self-guided tour is designed to start at the Arco do Castelo (Rua do Chão da Feira 25, 1100-129 Lisbon, Portugal).
- An Android (version 5.0 and later) or iOS smartphone is required to install the audio guide. The audio tour is not compatible with Windows phones.
- It's important to bring a charged cell phone, headphones, comfortable shoes, sunscreen, and a hat.
