Tour Overview
We will convene at Bulleid Way in central London at the scheduled time to board a comfortable coach, embarking on a day filled with discovery, scenery, and cultural richness.
After approximately a three-hour ride, we will arrive at the breathtaking city of Bath, a renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its exquisite Georgian structures and intriguing history. Here, you will gain access to the legendary Roman Baths, widely regarded as one of the most well-preserved ancient Roman sites globally.
During your visit to this remarkable site, you can wander through the complex at your leisure and uncover the importance of these historic thermal baths, which continue to flow with natural hot spring water to this day. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to marvel at the stunning Pulteney Bridge and visit the impressive 15th-century Bath Abbey. Fans of the Bridgerton series will spot familiar filming locations as they stroll through the charming streets of Bath.
Following this, an engaging guided walking tour of Bath awaits, led by an experienced guide. As we meander through the elegant streets, our guide will unfold captivating tales from Bath’s history, revealing why it is celebrated as one of the UK’s most beautiful cities. Ensure your camera is ready to capture unforgettable moments!
Next, we will embark on a journey of about an hour and a half to our second destination: the scenic Cotswolds. This enchanting region is known for its picturesque villages and beautiful rolling hills. Our first stop will be Bourton-on-the-Water, often called the ‘Venice of the Cotswolds.’ Here, you will be charmed by its honey-coloured stone houses and quaint bridges that cross the serene river.
During your time in Bourton-on-the-Water, you will have free time to enjoy lunch and explore the village's delightful tea rooms, cafés, and unique attractions, including the highly regarded Model Village.
In conclusion, we will board the bus for our return trip to London, arriving at Gloucester Road after a full day of 11.5 hours.
