Florence Cooking Class: Pasta & Baking
Our adventure begins at the designated meeting point on Via Camillo Cavour. Here, we will enter a culinary school in Florence and meet our skilled chef, who will guide us through the cooking process. Are you ready to embark on this gastronomic journey?
We will kick off the class by assembling the necessary ingredients for the pasta and pastry lesson. This includes measuring flour and salt, beating eggs, and peeling potatoes—ensuring a flawless mise en place!
Participants will create three unique pasta dishes employing both traditional rolling techniques and the pasta machine. Additionally, we will prepare three distinct sauces to complement our pasta.
As we transition to dessert, we will partake in a pastry session where we can choose to craft a sweet treat, selecting between vanilla panna cotta or strawberry coulis to delight our taste buds.
Following our culinary efforts, we will gather to enjoy a sumptuous meal comprising the dishes we have prepared. What better way to celebrate our hard work than with a well-deserved feast? To enhance the experience, we will also indulge in an exceptional Tuscan wine.
After approximately three hours and 15 minutes of delightful cooking, our culinary journey comes to a close.
