The six bridges cruise in Porto stands out as a quintessential experience in the city, offering a unique opportunity to explore stunning vistas.
Six Bridges Cruise
We will convene at the Ribeira pier at the scheduled time to embark on our renowned journey through the six bridges. This adventure will take us along the Douro River, allowing us to navigate between the Dom Luis I Bridge and the Arrábida Bridge, culminating at the Freixo Bridge, located at Porto's eastern boundary.
Additionally, the cruise includes a passage over the Infante Don Enrique Bridge, completed in 2003, the Maria Pia Bridge, conceptualized by the associate of Gustave Eiffel, Théophile Seyrig in 1873, and the São João Bridge, which is exclusively for trains.
Beyond the bridges, enjoy breathtaking views of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, where many renowned wineries are situated. The cruise is conducted aboard a traditional Rabelo boat, historically used to transport wine barrels from the vineyards located in the valley to the Gaia wineries.
This captivating 50-minute journey along the Douro concludes as we return to our starting point.
Cruise from Vila Nova de Gaia
If your accommodation is located across the Douro River, an alternative six bridges cruise from Vila Nova de Gaia is available for reservation.

Instructions
You can make the trip on any of the TOMAZ DO DOURO boats (identified with white and blue flags), which leave from the Ribeira (Ribeira do Porto - Caís da Ribeira) and Estiva (Caís da Estiva) piers. Both piers are very close to Praça da Ribeira.
At any of the two docks, you can present your Civitatis e-voucher at the ticket office, where it will be exchanged for a physical ticket to board the boat.
