Discover Porto efficiently with a tuk-tuk tour. You have the option to enhance your experience by adding a visit to a winery for a wine tasting, or by taking a scenic cruise on the River Duero, known as the Six Bridges cruise.

While booking, select your desired tuk-tuk tour option. All tours begin at the specified time at Rua do Corpo da Guarda, 18.

Tuk-Tuk Tour (50 Minutes)

This tour takes you through Porto’s historic center and its ancient city walls, visiting essential sites like São Bento Station and Porto Cathedral, a prime example of Portuguese Romanesque architecture with its robust design and fortress-like style.

We’ll continue along Avenida dos Aliados, a notable avenue characterized by significant institutional buildings and eclectic architecture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Here, we will see Igreja do Carmo and Igreja dos Carmelitas, two churches known for their impressive azulejo tile panels adorning the sides.

Next, we’ll visit the Clerigos Tower, a prominent Porto landmark, and pass by Livraria Lello, praised as one of the world’s most beautiful bookstores.

The tour proceeds along Rua das Taipas towards Miragaia and Ribeira, where distinctive views of the Douro River await. Along this path, you’ll see the rich urban structure featuring narrow streets, slender buildings, and wrought-iron balconies, reflective of the city’s steep landscape.

After this enriching experience, we’ll return to the starting point.

Tuk-Tuk Tour + Six Bridges Cruise (1.5 Hours)

For a more comprehensive experience, opt for the package that includes the tuk-tuk adventure mentioned earlier along with a ticket for the Six Bridges cruise. We can conclude the tour in Gaia, near the pier, allowing you to explore both Porto and Gaia distinctively.

Tuk-Tuk Tour + Cruise + Winery Visit (2 Hours)

For the ultimate Porto experience, choose this option. Along with everything included in the previous package, you will also visit a winery in Porto. The guided tour, lasting 30 minutes, offers a tasting of 2 glasses of wine at the Burmester or Fonseca winery with an English-speaking guide.

Schedule for Cruise & Winery Tour

Below are the schedules for the Six Bridges Cruise and the guided tour of the Port Wine Cellar:

Six Bridges Cruise: available daily from 10:30 am to 6 pm (April to September) and from 11 am to 4 pm (October to March). Tickets are valid for any time.
Guided tour of a wine cellar in Porto: occurs daily from 11 am to 5 pm. Tickets for the winery visit will be provided after the tuk-tuk tour with instructions for booking to ensure availability.
The winery visit can occur on the same day as the tuk-tuk tour or anytime within the following 30 days.
For bookings at 6 pm, winery visits or the cruise can't occur the same day and should be scheduled for the next day or within the next 30 days.

Instructions

Tuk-Tuk Tour Meeting Point

On the day of the activity, you'll need to head at the designated time to the Tourism Office in front of the São Bento train station (the red building), located at the following address: Rua do Corpo da Guarda, 18. Please arrive 15 minutes in advance.

Cruise & Winery Visit Meeting Points

Cruise of the six bridges: Vila Nova de Gaia dock (Cais de Gaia). You can get on any ROTA DO DUORO boat with the voucher we'll give you at the end of the tuk tuk tour.

Guided visit to the winery in Porto:

Burmester Winery, located next to the Luis Bridge (Largo Dom Luís I, 4400-111 Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal)

Cruise & Winery Tour Schedule

The timetables for the Six Bridges Cruise and the guided tour of the Port Wine Cellar are as follows:

Six Bridges Cruise: Every day from 9:30 am to 6 pm (from April to October) and from 11 am to 4 pm (from November to March)
Guided tour of the Port wine cellar: Every day from 11 am to 5 pm
If you book the tour at 6 pm, you won't be able to visit the wineries or do the cruise on the same day as the tuk-tuk tour. You can do it the next day or within the following 30 days.

To ensure that an English-speaking guide is available for the winery tour, you'll need to make a reservation in advance. At the end of the tuk-tuk tour, we'll explain how you can do this. However, there is no need to book the boat tour in advance as this is included with your ticket.

Ticket Validity

Both the cruise and the winery visit can be done on the same day as the tuk-tuk tour (if available) or within the next 30 days.

Additional Info

Please be aware that the duration of the activity may vary depending on traffic conditions. We advise against scheduling any additional activities or making other plans within an hour after the scheduled end time.
