In this tour of Brooklyn's graffiti, we'll explore the Bushwick neighborhood to discover the urban culture of this district of New York.
Tour Details
We'll meet at 282 Meserole Street in Brooklyn and start this graffiti tour of the Graff Tours Mural Project. This tour features one of the most impressive street art exhibitions globally.
As we begin, we will explore a neighborhood adorned with over 25 multicolored murals that have transformed warehouse buildings into an outdoor art gallery. Featured artists include MenaceResa, Jason Naylor, and Don Rimx, a Puerto Rican artist recognized by the New York Times. Camera use is encouraged.
At each mural, we will examine every intricate detail and learn the stories behind the art and its creation. Additionally, we will discuss how taking the tour supports the local artist community and recognizes their work. Our guide will explain the differences between graffiti, tagging, and street art, enhancing our understanding of the murals we observe.
After 1.5 hours of exploring Brooklyn's street art, we will return to the starting point for goodbyes.
