With a network of 18 stops, the tour features 2 distinct routes that cover Midtown, Uptown, and Downtown, all converging at Times Square. Ticket Options

Red Line 24-hour ticket: gain access to the downtown tour on the Red Line.
Red & Blue Line 48-hour ticket: this option includes both the Red Line (Downtown tour) and the Blue Line (Uptown tour), plus an evening panoramic tour lasting 2 hours with an English-speaking guide.
Red & Blue Line 72-hour ticket + cruise: enjoy both the Downtown and Uptown tours over the course of 3 days and select between the Circle Line Liberty Cruise (1 hour) or the Circle Line Landmarks Cruise (90 minutes).
Red & Blue Line 1-day ticket & Empire State Building ticket: alongside the sightseeing bus ticket, visit the observation deck of the Empire State Building, a quintessential New York skyscraper.
48-hour pass + Empire State Building Observatory ticket + cruise: opt for the most comprehensive package, combining the sightseeing bus ticket, entry to the Empire State Building observation deck, and a cruise along the Hudson River. Both cruise and observation deck visit can occur on separate days for added convenience.

How It Works

The validity of the 24, 48, or 72-hour tickets will correspond to the length of use. For instance, if you activate a 24-hour ticket on a Monday at 11 am, it remains valid until 11 am the following day. During this period, you can hop on and off the bus as you wish.

With the 1-day ticket, if first used on Monday at 11 am, you may travel until the end of that day at midnight but will not be able to use it again the next day until 11 am.

The 48-hour ticket grants access to a nightly tour departing from stop #1 (M&M's World) at two times around sunset. The 72-hour option includes both the Circle Line Liberty Cruise and the Circle Line Landmarks Cruise, which depart daily from Pier 83 (located at 42nd Street and Hudson River Park).

If you purchase the Empire State Building Observatory ticket option, you'll need to select a time for your visit after exchanging your sightseeing bus ticket, receiving your official ticket at that time.

Schedule & Frequency

Red Line (Downtown Tour): This line features 12 stops and operates daily every 10 to 15 minutes from 9 am to 5 pm. The full route lasts approximately one and a half hours.
Blue Line (Uptown Tour): This line has 7 stops and runs daily every half hour from 10 am to 4 pm, with a similar duration of around one and a half hours.
Evening Tour (part of the 48-hour ticket): This tour departs daily from stop #1 (M&M's World) during the early evening.

Blue Line (Uptown Tour): this line has 7 stops and runs every half hour from 10 am to 4 pm daily. The entire route takes around an hour and a half.
Evening Tour (included in the 48-hour ticket): this tour runs daily from stop #1 (M&M's World) in the late afternoon/evening schedule.

How to Use the Empire State Building Observatory Ticket

If you book the Empire State Building Observatory ticket option, once you redeem your ticket for the sightseeing bus, you must select a time to visit the building. At that time, you will be given your official ticket. Please keep in mind that the waiting time at the Empire State Building may vary.

Hudson River Cruise

If you have chosen the option that includes the cruise, you will need to select a departure time once you redeem your hop-on hop-off bus ticket. You will receive your official cruise entry at that time. Alternatively, you can book your time slot in advance through the Big Bus website: https://www.bigbustours.com/manage-my-booking.

Location: Cruises depart daily from Circle Line Cruises at Pier 83, 42nd Street, in Hudson River Park.
Bus Stop: This corresponds to Big Bus Stop #12 (Circle Line Sightseeing).
Arrival: We recommend arriving 30 minutes before your departure time, as seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
